RecipeLab by Kasota Labs

Privacy Policy

RecipeLab helps you import, adapt, save, and improve recipes. This policy explains the data RecipeLab processes when you choose to use those features.

Information you provide

How RecipeLab uses data

RecipeLab uses this information for account access, recipe extraction and adaptation, pantry matching, planning, personalization, memory you control, security, and support. Inferred preferences remain candidates until you approve them. Clearly stated safety and accessibility needs may be saved immediately.

AI processing and service providers

RecipeLab sends relevant cooking context to protected backend services and AI providers only to deliver requested app functionality. Supabase provides authentication, database, private storage, and backend functions. OpenAI provides model processing. RecipeLab does not send its private prompts, scoring weights, or model reasoning to the app.

Retention and deletion

Account data remains while the account is active or as needed to operate and secure the service. Original photo or PDF files are retained only when you select the private-retention option. In-app account deletion removes the Auth account, user-owned database rows, and private import files. Limited operational backups may age out according to infrastructure retention.

Sharing and tracking

RecipeLab does not sell personal information and does not include advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs. Information is shared with processors only as needed to operate RecipeLab or when legally required.

Security and choices

RecipeLab uses encrypted network transport, private storage, secure token storage, Row Level Security, and narrow backend APIs. You can review or reject inferred memory and delete your account in the app. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Children and changes

RecipeLab is not directed to children under 13. Material policy changes will be posted here with a revised date.
